At Appledore we believe it is important that all members of your family are cared for to a high standard, whatever their age. Your children need to have regular preventive care to enable them to grow up with disease free mouths, and to allow them to keep their teeth for life.
We offer free check ups to children 10 years and under, providing one parent is a regular patient at Appledore this check up can be at any time, if no parent is registered this free appointment has to be on a specific day of the month between 3pm and 5pm (please contact the clinic for up to date information).
By involving parents in prevention, we are able to fight against dental disease more effectively. Toys and books are available in reception for younger children to use.
All Appledore patients will have a full examination at their annual check ups. As well as checking your teeth for signs of decay, we also look at the health of your gums and check your jaw joints. Additionally, all adult patients are checked with the Velsope (oral cancer screening) to assist in the prevention of this disfiguring form of cancer.
Over 65’s can have some treatments at special rates, this is only applicable Monday to Thursday between 11am and 3pm (please contact the clinic for up to date information on which treatments this applies to).
